Joseph James Bernardo Jr. "Lil Jay", 38, of Santa Maria, CA, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Jay leaves behind his three beloved sons: Joseph, Jayden, and Jesse Bernardo. He is survived by his parents, Joseph Bernardo and Angie Padilla (Marty Galindo); his siblings, Cassandra Bernardo, Vincent Galindo (Cecilia), Jacob Galindo (Shannon), Israel Galindo, and Sheyanne Galindo; and his nephews, Lil Vinny, Roman, and Elijah.

A service in honor of Jay will be held at Apostolic Assembly Church, located at 400 N. Mary Dr., Santa Maria, CA 93458.

Jay will be remembered for his love of family, contagious laughter, and the light he brought into every room. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
