GUENDI BEATRIZ GAMEZ ESCALANTE April 25, 2010 – June 7, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Guendi Beatriz Gamez Escalante, who was taken from us far too soon on June 7, 2026, at the age of 16.

Guendi was a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend whose beautiful spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her kindness, laughter, and loving heart brought joy to those around her. She will be remembered for the happiness she shared and the precious memories she created with family and friends.

Guendi is survived by her loving mother, Rosa Escalante Escalante; her father, Pablo Gamez Lopez; her stepfather, Jose Barragan, who was a big part of her life; her beloved younger brother, Marlo Naul Escalante, age 7; her grandmother, Adela Escalante Lopez; her aunt, Lucia Escalante; her uncle, Jose Adan Escalante; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Genaro Escalante Ramirez, who now welcomes her with open arms.

Although Guendi's time with us was far too short, the love she shared and the impact she made will remain in our hearts forever. Her memory will continue to live on in the lives she touched and in the family who will always cherish her.

Wednesday, June 24, 2026  at 6:30pm Visitation & Rosary will be at the family residence located at  625 Pine Street, Apt C, Santa Maria, California.

Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 12:00pm a Funeral Mass at St. John Neumann Church 966 W. Orchard St, Santa Maria, California.

Final Resting Place Guendi will be laid to rest at her home in Honduras following the services.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever sixteen.
