By God's sovereign choice, Dianne Hodges was given the gift of life on April 23, 1951, and entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 30, 2025.

She is lovingly remembered by her four children: Jennifer, Stephanie, Justin, and Jessica, as well as her eight grandchildren, who were a source of joy and blessing to her. As Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 17:6: "Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their fathers."

Dianne's greatest earthly joy was being a mother, and even in her final thoughts, her heart and prayers were fixed upon her children—that they might be together in Christ, knowing that the only treasure she could take with her into eternity was the eternal salvation of her family.

Dianne was a woman who, through life's trials, at times wandered, yet always returned to the loving arms of her Savior. Her story is one of God's steadfast faithfulness and abundant mercy. She persevered in the faith to the very end, clinging to the promises of Scripture, and finding comfort in the truth that God's grace abounded far greater than all her sin.

Her life may be summed up in the words of Romans 8:28: "We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." And in the promise of Romans 8:38-39, she lived with the assurance that "neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

While her passing brings sorrow, it also brings peace in knowing that Dianne is now at rest in the presence of her Redeemer, free from the trials of this life. Her children and grandchildren remain her lasting legacy, and it is the prayer of her family that God would be pleased to grant them repentance leading to life, so that one day they may all be reunited in the glory of heaven.

To God be the glory for the blood of Christ and for Dianne's testimony, and the mercy He showed her to the very end.
