David J Ramos passed away November 19th, 2025, in his home in Orcutt, surrounded by loved ones. David was born October 7th, 1949, in Santa Maria. David attended Santa Maria High school, served in the Army in Vietnam from April 6th, 1969, to May 20th, 1970. David left the Army as an E-4 Medical Specialist. In 1988 David met the love of his life Kim Garrett and the two have been together ever since. David enjoyed BBQing with his kids, camping, fishing, daily walks and watching Western movies.

David is survived by his wife Kim, his sisters Isabel and Mary-Louise, his children Aaron Angela Mathew and Mitchell Ramos, his grandsons Michael and Seth. As well as numerous niece's nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents, and sister. Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1:00pm at Santa Maria Cemetery District 1501 S. College Drive, Santa Maria, California. A celebration of life will be held at the Orcutt Lion's Den, 126 S Broadway, Orcutt, California 93455. January 17th, 2026, at 1pm. All are welcome to come share memories and celebrate David.
