It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Caitlyn Dicken-Summers, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and friend, who departed this world on October 3, 2025, in Santa Maria, California. Caitlyn was born on August 8, 1994, in Thermopolis, Wyoming, and she lived a life marked by compassion, laughter, and an unwavering spirit.

Caitlyn was the cherished daughter of Scott Dicken and Lynell Roberts, and was a great source of joy in their lives. She was married to Ben Summers on December 27th 2020. Their love flourished for nearly five years, and Caitlyn's warmth and kindness filled their home with happiness, along with her beloved pup, Sheriff.

She is survived by her Husband, Ben Summers of Santa Maria, California. Her Father, Scott Dicken and Wife Lana of Plains, Montana. Her mother, Lynell Roberts and Husband David of Santa Maria, California. Her Grandmother, Donna Clardy of Santa Maria, California. Her Grandfather Neil Procter (Shirley) of Plains, Montana. Her 2 brothers, Christian Patin (Shantel) of Kalispell, Montana. Douglas Dicken (Kayla) of Bakersfield, California. Her Step Brothers Jeremiah Allen (Aaliyah), Jacob Lulack, and David Roberts.  Her Step Sisters Kara Clutts-Roberts (Tyler) and Ashley Nickell. Her Uncle Darrel Hollis (Maria). Her Aunt, Cheryl Dicken-Henson (Don) and Uncle, Greg Dicken (Jane). Also, numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored.

As a graduate of Liberty High School in Bakersfield, California, Caitlyn's journey led her to a fulfilling career as a Pharmacy Technician in local drug stores in both Plains and Thompson Falls, Montana. Along with her dedication to her work, she was a faithful member of her church and found immense joy in serving in kids ministries.

Caitlyn was known for her kind heart and empathetic nature. She had a special love for animals, particularly her canine friends, who brought her so much joy. Her laughter was contagious, and she had a remarkable ability to bring light to every room she entered, leaving an indelible mark of happiness on her loved ones.

In her final days, Caitlyn was deeply thankful for the support she received from her pastors at The Bridge Central Coast, the unwavering encouragement from her close friends and family, and the compassionate care from her dialysis treatment staff, as she battled kidney disease and other difficult health complications.

Caitlyn is a new creation, born of water and Spirit. She is now in her perfect, eternal body. II Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.

A celebration of Caitlyn's life will be held at The Bridge Central Coast on October 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind
