Bonnie L Nyenhuis (Quigley) was born in Wasco, March 17, 1948 to David and Velta Quigley. She passed at her residence in Santa Maria, Ca surrounded by family, September 22, 2026. She is proceeded in death by her father David and mother Velta Quigley; survived by her sister Teri Paz, daughter Amber Ochoa and grandchildren, Rachael Kerley, Hannah Kerley, Ethan Kerley and Eva Ochoa. 

Bonnie was a local Righetti High School graduate, where she loved marching band. After graduation she attended Life Bible College, received her BA at Cal Poly and Masters at Grand Canyon University.

 Bonnie touched countless lives teaching in public elementary schools in Santa Maria, Orcutt, Los Alamos as well as private Christian schools in Arroyo Grande and Quincy, CA. She took pride in teaching children the fundamentals they needed to excel in life.

 Not only did Bonnie love teaching, she was also a part of her local church’s praise and worship team, playing the piano at many church functions. She held numerous women’s Bible studies in her home and loved sharing the gospel and praying for anyone who was in need. 

Bonnie Nyenhuis was loved and appreciated by many; she will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers doations can be made to:
