Barton Edward Clark passed away peacefully at his home on April 13, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend, whose impact will be felt for generations.

Barton lived a life of purpose, high integrity, guided by his faith and a genuine love for God and people. He began his career as a pastor, offering encouragement, wisdom, and compassion to everyone he encountered. Later, as a probation officer, he continued to show God's love to others—believing in growth, grace, and second chances. No matter the setting, Barton led with kindness and a servant's heart, always striving to reflect the love of God in how he lived.

He was a man who thrived outdoors—he loved camping, working with his hands, and being surrounded by family and friends. A natural handyman, Barton could fix just about anything and was often the go-to "man of the house" in more homes than just his own. His joy came from helping others and being present in the lives of those he loved.

Barton is survived by his loving wife, Julie; his children, Fayth Jacob (and son-in-law Sam), Destinee Erickson (and son-in-law Brian), Luke Clark (and future daughter-in-law Kendall); mother, Carol Gregor, stepfather, David;  mother-in-law, Karen Howell; sister, Kim Nodal; (and brother-in-law, Steve); sister-in-law, Hilary Miller and also his nieces and nephews.

Above all, Barton should be remembered as a light. He had a way of brightening every room he entered—through much laughter, listening, and sharing his many stories. His love for God shaped how he loved people—with patience, kindness, and humble strength. He lived to serve, love, and bless others—and that legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, especially his wife and three children, who were the heart of his world.
